After 2010 was when video games started to go down the tubes. Why should I be surprised that they are now copying one another?

Think about it, Metro Exodus was the only good AAA release recently. And even it had it's share of issues.

I wish we could get some new fresh studios to exist without Microsoft or EA buying them out and burying amazing franchises.

I was looking up old Interplay games at random. Saw this and then checked it on yt and there was a Gameinformer playthrough of it. Was disappointed it was a railshooter. I expected it to be more along the lines of Perfect Dark for whatever reason. It gets half a star from what I saw. Too bad.

Just wanted to mention "It ripped off Halo and those other IPs you mentioned even years before they existed" but others were already ahead of me.

I played Cyberia 1 a couple of years after it was released. It still looked nice but the signs of age were visible.
Gameplay wise it was never impressive, I consider it more like a big tech demo than really a game.
I don't think it was even a benchmark title.
