delay or not delay new vegas?

i know must people hate the way nv is looking.would u rather Bethesda push the release back for more polish or would you take fallout 3 in Vegas as it is?

The has already been delayed. At this point, I don't think they want to delay the release any further. Also, I really don't care. Rather keep working on this spin off, I would like to see some work on the next installment (Fallout 4), being made with a whole new engine and resorting back to more sensible things in the Fallout universe.

The release now is Fall, I believe, and that gives them time to work out some things. Is it enough time, who knows, but I'm hoping that New Vegas redeems the way it looks with better game play and writing.

It wasn't already delayed. Fall was the only official release date. Any earlier ones were just false rumors or store placeholders.

By all means, delay! If we'll get a better and polished product from an extra one, two, three, but no-more-than-four months work, do it.

WWas there any use to delay Alpha Protocol? I don't really think Obsidian is able to polish their games THAT much before release. They need to get some feedback first.

I am expecting the highest quality game possible from the developers. So I don't mind at all if they delay and spend more time adding new locations, side quest, NPCs, or just making sure that the game have as little bugs as possible.

But I don't want them to delay the game just for the sake of making the fans happy. Imagine if they planned to have the game released on mid 2012. They deliberately announce an earlier date only to later 'delay' the release. If the developer really think that the game is finished, then just release it. If not, delay it.
