So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs
Any of you guys stuck with that trend with your kids? Or are you even old enough to have kids :P
Now even my two year old yells !BEYBADE! (he can't pronounce the L yet) when he lauches his top.
I had to "build" him a heavy one, since he can rip it as fast as my other son and he likes to play with him and his friends.
 
Can you further explain the concept of "beyblading"?

I know there is some show on TV called that, but I never seen it.
 
Yeah my kid has one, of the "resistance" type. Does great things to walls, doors and my patience...

The animated series is really awfull, somehow even Pokemon was more interesting...
 
I dont have any children of my own but let me say...

My god that is the most annoying program ever to hit TV!
My little brother has loads of vidios, BeyBlade merchandise, you name it he has it.
I get them thrown at me on a regular basis!
There is a huge demand for them around here, every child you seems to have them!

Basic game is to chuck spinning Blades at each other, the one who knocks the other out of the circle wins!

Beyblading?

Beyblade is a game of spinning tops that you lauch with a rip cord and a launcher. They have parts that are interchangeable, so you can customized them.
My sons's favorites are the one with flint stones on the outer ring, because when they collide they spark.
You also have to battle in the official beyblade arena.
 
i don't even like to think about having children, but then again im just 15 :)
 
How low could anime drop? I remember those good anime shows like dragonball, ranma, kenobi, tokiyo private police (oh wait wasn't that an hentai?) and more...

Look what has happened to it now...

It all started with Pokemon...also that show was/is some what okeyish...

But now it's getting worse since the painters seem to have some what lost their ideas of making good animes. Instead they make series were CARD MONSTERS are fighting each other (Yugi-Oh) or as this thread mentions DRILLS fighting each other (Beyblade).

Worst of all you do get addicted to it.

Well at least we could see the good side from that. Such as "Captain Tsubasa". I heard lots of japanese kids wanna be a great football player after wathing the movie. And today Japan become a football "superpower" in Asia (altough for me Korean still the best!!)
And "Born To Cook" made me loves cooking (Instant noodle, cream soup heh...heh... Hey! I'm still a beginner!!)
Hmm, lets check what happened here! After the TV got "Lets & Go" (and Dash Yonkuro back in 90's) everyone wanna have Tamiya! Nowaday they got beyblade and guess what???

Oh yeah, I AM MR. BHASS!!! Well if some of you missed me, sorry! I'm very busy these last two month and same like Big Fat Mama (now Nrimo Lan Sumeh) our old Mail have been inactive for 1 years!

People in my class at school are playing with these damn things, I mean come on, we're supposed to be teenagers (Well, I guess baby toys is a better alternative than drug abuse for these kids.)

And I'm almost thinking that I have a life now...

I still don't get the idea of this supposed 'game', somebody care to explain it to me? On seconds thoughts, I don't really want to hear.

Nope not all or maybe for the hentai part but that anime really had a good story for its status...
