Dr. Madison Li as the main antagonist in Fallout 4

Lanius

Monster of the East
First of all, let us assume that Fallout 4 is set in Boston, for the sake of this thread.

We know that Dr. Madison Li ended up leaving the Capital Wasteland and went up North to the Commonwealth/Institute. I am pretty sure she will have a role in Fallout 4, if it's indeed set in Boston.

What I imagine now is that she somehow climbed up the hierarchy or otherwise assumed total control of the Institute and now commands a legion of Cyborgs and Androids - ready to do her every bidding! A powerful, evil force of destruction!
Even though this behaviour doesn't reflect her character in Fallout 3, I think it would be cool.
She is now the evil supervillain, so to speak. Totally corrupted by power. A dragon lady dictator!

What do you think about that?
There is just no way around her not having a role in Fallout 4, if it is set in Boston. And this role would be something no one would expect; you know, instead of just a lame minor encounter.

Maybe she is herself now a Cyborg! With superhuman strength and enhanced brain functions (lol) or something.

That would be also great for a boss battle. Maybe she sits in, or is linked with, or even is a complete part of a "giant robot". Well, some kind of Horrigan-sized robot.

It's Bethesda, so there will be a giant humanoid in the end some way or the other.

If I still had the game, I would install a mod that allows to kill them all. However, I still made the smartest decision in the series.

If only THAT game was apart of the series. I've experienced the horrors of POS firsthand. Only the images of vault boy reminded me of what I was supposedly playing. Maybe Interplay didn't actually shoot themselves in the foot with that one, maybe it was all a ploy organized by bethesda to make FO3 seem all the better in comparison when they took over the license . And it would have succeeded, if POS had picked up any steam whatsoever. But on the topic, I personally don't like as it doesn't make much sense to me. But honestly, with bethesda it wouldn't suprise me. "The fanboys seem to love giant robots, and since we made that a thing let's toss it in."

Your ideas sound very Bethsoft-ish so considering that they ARE on the case, that may happen. I won't be very happy about it though.

What a dumb idea honestly. Might as well make Moira the antagonist. Actually, that'd probably be better. Moira was marginally more memorable of a character than Doctor Li, if for all the wrong reasons.

Makes some sense.
Ulysse is sawyer or avellone avatar and is an antagonist. You could also consider Moira as Beth's avatar. (although you can already antagonize her in Fo3, or outright kill her)

I'm tired of the original faction like the Brotherhood in the Capital Wasteland plus how did they get here???or caesar's legion wtf is this?I hope there will be new factions and no more Brotherhood or any boring factions. As about the antagonist i don't care but Dr. Madison cannot be the antagonist this is to stupid her stats shows low strength.I'm sure there will be another antagonist named TEH XTRA MEGA SUPER GiANT R0bOT like in FO3 or another overpowered character.

Since i saw the trailer i hope that the game will be using another engine than Havok Physics or Gamebryo, plus no more lag or crash after 1-5 mins of gameplay.

And the trailer looks nice, there is no more f***ed up sky like in FO3(Srsly that sky made FO3 uglier than was,a boring green sky) in FO4 there is some blue sky.The graphics are good.

I expect from FO4 something good,as about the release date i think it could be in december of this year or next year in march.I think this because, look at Fallout 3 it was released several months after E3 2008.

She ran off? I don't remeber, she barely had any role so her absence is almost unnoticeable.

I want to say she leaves after the Enclave kill your father I think? TBH I don't remember (been a few years since I played F3) but I remember an NPC saying she went north to The Institute.

That's the mark of a well written character. Having to check back to even see if she was actually in any part of the story and being written out with a single sentence.
