Dwarfs

Its not like the normal characters are very well designed, why not make a dwarf as crappy like everything else?

I always thought Dwarfs were an odd party of Fallout, no biggie for me to see them not make an appearance.

Should be easy to do, but needs a unique body model, maybe even new animations. New animations would kick the thing out of the window. Guess it's not worth the work, else we might got one.

How often do you see dwarves in real life? Not often, in our planet populated by 6billion peoples.

They wouldn't exactly be a common occurance in a wasteland, not to mention, and I mean no disrespect, they would probably have more trouble surviving in such conditions, than a man of average height.

now, why ? They would make great scavangers. Imagine of the possibilities. They could squezes inside everything a usual person would not fit :D

Unless, of course, you discovered a thing called "crawling."

I hear even babies can do it.

Also, what about children?

Dwarfs, sounds strange? Midget? Or is that degrading?
Anyway, I did forget about them... However, generally I miss the diversity of NPC animations from F1/2. They made the whole more credible and alive, even though they were so small and weren't 3D
I miss the stumbling old man/junkie. The ass-shaking prostitute/lady. The slow but deliberate moving ghouls. The Reno bouncers. The tough looking hulking brotherhood. The satisfying death scenes...

edit:in a nuclear holocaust way of speaking there should, or at least could, be more genetic implications in the fallout universe. So dwarfs, yes, definitely.
NPCs could be more scarred from living in RAD-ersive world.

Yeah, because there are no dwarfes/liliputans in real life either, right?

To the extent they showed up in Fallout, no. It is rare I see a dwarf, mystical folk they are. The only one I have seen in the past year that I can recall is the cashier at Publix.

Dwarfs belong in fantasy games, you will notice a very distinct absence of them in all other forms of gaming for the most part, as it should be.

New character models? New animations? Sounds to me like Prosper is the man for the job...

Dwarfes? as like in Tolkien and TES? That's not best idea but I do wonder why there's no Trogs in Huver Dam from VB.

Yeah, I always thought it was really weird that they weren't in fallout 3, especially since there are like 7 different races in Oblivion. I always figured that Bethesda didn't think about it, and Obsidian couldn't do it because they only had Bethesda's assets.

You'd actually think there would be more characters in the Wasteland with things like dwarfism, as it is a genetic mutation.
