Edge Online previews Fallout 3

Yeah, that would be the video that was the primary influence when I purchased the game. :P

Also, to bet a million dollars you'd have to actually have a million, regardless of whether you think you're going to win or not. Unless you have Todd's principles at heart.

4 more attempts at betting a million dollars and we're going to have to start calling you the 6 million dollar man.

Well, I can always offer my organs as collateral ;) And we're still talking 1 million, seeing that you already refused to bet.

By the way, were you as stupid as I was and upgraded your gaming rig in anticipation for that piece of shit game, also under false impressions from fake gameplay vids?

I'm surprised that they didn't get sued for false advertising, I'd think that they could get nailed for their demo of Radiant AI.

I was more pissed about the Argonians being fug ugly in Oblivion rather than the Radiant A.I thing. Screwed my fave race from Morrowind right over.

The cat people were an improvement though, in my opinion.

It's funny that you should mention that. My first Morrowind character was Argonian because the other people all look like something chewed them up and spit them back out. I didn't play another race until I got the PC version (due to beautification mods, of course).

Also, I didn't upgrade my computer for Oblivion. I had already upgraded it for the Sims 2, another game that did not fail to disappoint me. Although I believe I mostly have myself to blame for that one. I thought that each individual sim might have a personality, but you can tell them to do anything and... well.. they will do anything.

That's very nice. It actually fills in quite a few blanks that I had. Still you have to read past the corp crud...but I think that they still tried to reach a blance between BIS and BSoft's approaches to making games.
In what way? Everything and anything that didn't fit the Beth design mold and philosophy has been thrown out the window.
