Fallout 2 mod Editing weapon stats?

Can someone explain how to mod weapon/armor/ammo stats?

Thanks, looking at it now. Im confused though, some items seem to have the read only flag, how do i edit those? I tried looking at the readme, but it seems to be in polish and there doesnt appear to be an english version....

Select item, then just click red button EDIT FILE

You can also use a hex editor. There's a pretty great guide to all the offsets in the Modding section of NMA.

EDIT: Well, I must be getting old. That part of the site got taken down, but here's a link to the archive. The Item Offsets and Items List is all you need.

Oh the problem was that the read only items dont have that button anymore, but you can still edit them.

While we are at it, does anyone know how to edit things like shop inventories, NPCs, etc?
