GameBanshee brings word that Todd Howard took stage at the Spike TV VGAs to announced Bethesda's next title: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. No Fallout 4 from Bethesda right now.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? Is this video actually authentic? If so it's safe to say the very pillars of the entire GENRE of role playing games has trembled this day. Gentlemen, after rough times with Obsidian I'm proud to admit the road ahead will be rewarding beyond any of our expectations. :D

Yes, I know. When most people think of dragons, they think of the "Chinese" ones. Putting a completely new spin on dragons-- and bringing them into a medieval European-style world-- is one of the most major draws of this game, I'd say.
 
I don't understand why everyone is so hung up on dragons needing to be in TES.
 
Don't forget about using Norsemen in here. It might actually have some material from Norse mythos!!! Imagine!

Are you kidding me? That's wild. That trailer literally moved me to tears. You must be a man of stone. The carving in the wall moved around! It was crazy! And one hero must kill over 9000 dragons! How can that not make you want to go eat raw meat and scream at people!?

There was active speculation that to avoid competition with the TES MMO Bethesda would prioritize Fallout 4 over TES V. I'm happy this is not the case and a Fallout 4 from Bethesda has been, at least, delayed. That is all.
 
Dare I say... it looks good... for a trailer anyway. Please, please, PLEASE Bethesda... don't fuck up again. Still gotta see if the retcon Skyrim into a generic fantasy land with sprawling forests and fields :lol: Mind you... the dragons were killed by the Tsaesci , so I don't really see why they'd attack the nords....
 
Hah, you and your silly canon, as if Bethesda ever cared about that. This stuff is cool. If it's cool, they do it. Canon be damned!
