F2: Combat Overhaul Mod 2.0

I am waiting until the RP 2.1 release before revamping this mod.

Currently it would most likely NOT be compatible with RP 2.0 given there has most likely been changes to the .pro list.

I have also found out thanks to crazycc's investigations that what I was trying to attempt; identify ammo by it's multiplier, was flawed.

So there is a lot of work to do before the next version can be recreated and released. :(

Hopefully those who are interested in this mod can wait.
 
Damn! Can you try and do the minimum to get it working and be better than "how it plays with all the options on" for 2.0.2e? You know, a maintenance release, even if it removes lots of features? :|

Also are you ever gonna make the bozar a sniper rifle??
 
Patience…good things take time. If the proto lists don’t match exactly then the game will crash, and that the bane of all modders. Glovz is right for waiting. :wink:

Sorry I have no plans to make it compatible with the megamod, and no for the same reason it's not compatible with the RP currently.

Is this mod stil compatible with Restoration Project or Killap's Unofficial Patch?
I'm interested in using this mod, but I won't if it's incompatible.

It's not and was partially flawed.

I have released a new change to the damage calculation that is included in sfall. See the link in my signature.

But do wait for the next release of sfall or RP 2.1.2, to be sure the FIX is included. This does not include changes I once made to the proto files.

For the changes to weapons, armor, ammo, and critter protos, I will release a new mod containing those files to be used with the original damage calculation or my FIX. I am waiting for RP 2.1.2 to be released before I modify the files to ensure it will be compatible.
