Fallout 1 localization problem

First time out of the vault
Hi, i would like to translate Fallout. But i couldn't reach all of localization files. Or what is the localization files? Can anyone help about this issue?

Choose an humongous installation to have all the Fallout files.
If you don't have everything, extract everything from critter.dat and master.dat with the Dateplorer by Jab for Fallout 1 or by Dims for Fallout 2 and put those into the Fallout\data folder.

Everything in data\text can be opened by the notepad.
There is also the .bio files from data\premade. Those are the bios for the premade characters.
There might be other files that might need to be translated, but once you did data\text, you have done 99% of the job, and it would be easy to check what is left.

Which language are you translating to? F1 already has French, Spanish, German, Russian translations, maybe more, I don't know.

Besides premade characters bios, everything is in data/text. You'll need to extract from master.dat (dat2 for that), then copy over files from actual data/text, overwriting.
Some grahpical assets will need to be edited as well. And most importantly, if there are non-ascii characters in the text, you might need to adjust the fonts so they could be displayed.

Allright, i encountered some problems. However, i reached the data files, finally! And i found another program to pack this files to .dat version. Thanks for your help people. Now, i have another problem. The game has font files just like .fon format. I need to modify them to add my language's characters. But windows font viewer doesn't open it. I tried another ways but didn't work. Do you have an idea for that?

you know, if you don't answer questions and don't do your own research, that kinda discourages people from helping.

yes, you are right. i didn't mention because of it doesn't matter which language. but if you want to know it is turkish.
