Fallout 2 Crashes Loading Save

I installed fallout 2 through steam and then downloaded the killap unofficial patch. I had to reset my computer and then upon trying to play fallout 2 again, it says

the instruction at 004f11db referenced memory at 00000010
the memory could not be read from

What should I do or what can I do. I do not want to start over.
I have not posted before so I am sorry if I have done this incorrectly.

I have no idea about the unofficial patch. Burn is the one to talk to, but he doesn't visit the forum a lot. It's best to make an issue ticket on the git repo.

Killap's patch is outdated, use the new patch from burn and READ EVERYTHING before installing it:
