Fallout 2 Frank Horrigan

First time out of the vault
I'm trying to figure out if its possible to rip the "model" of Frank Horrigan from the game directory? I'm not even sure if model is the right word to use. I attempted to extract the .frm files of him to a viewer where I kinda succeeded but I don't think I would be able to convert the .frm to something like OBJ or STL?

Is there anyone that could possibly help me or steer me in the right direction? I have looked through forum posts on modding and extracting but, to be perfectly honest, its extremely overwhelming to someone who doesn't know the lingo or has ever done this before.

My end goal is to get Horrigan's model in Maya so I could possibly 3D print a small statue of him.

The short answer is no. FO2 was made in 1998 so the game assets are all 2D. You'd need to re-create the model in 3D or ask Bethesda nicely for the original 3D model. ;)

I'd be shocked if they had the original models for any of it.

*As was said, what shipped on the disc was 2d rendered imagery generated from the 3D models they used; not the 3D models themselves.

**That aside, Frank Horrigan is probably the easiest [humanoid] model to recreate in 3D; not least for that its detail is easier to make out than most of the others that are less than half its size.

Gotcha.

Thank you both. That was more or less what I feared. I do have some experience 3D modeling stuff but I am by no means a pro.
