Mash has released verson 3.0 of his high resolution patch for Fallout 2.
Major code overhaul, most of patch re-written and/or optimized.
Fixed Splash screen display.
Added scaling options for Splash, Help, Death, Ending Slides and Main-menu Screens.
Added option to load 8bit bmp's on Splash screen.
Added option to set 32bit colour output.
Text used in the Screen-Settings screen can now be edited in a msg file.
Hi-res patch art and other files have been intergrated into the fallout file system. And are now stored in f2_res.dat and can be patched in the data folder.
Added map edge clipping option to hide the unused area beyond the map borders.
Map edges are now the same no matter the resolution.
Multiple edge sets can now be set up on a single map level.
Map angled borders have been removed. All 10 000 tile and 40 000 hex positions can be utilized.
Numerous other small fixes.

This are the best features. Spares the modders lots of time + allows bigger maps. :)

I apologize for my ignorance in modding F2 but…
Is this compatible with Killap RP?

I think it's already built in in Killap's RP, isn't it?
Maybe not the newest version, but I guess the next version of the RP might have the newest version of the HR patch...

Yeap...just make sure to copy the RP stuff in the Extras folder into the data/map folder. This new release is top stuff...for one thing we can now see the loading screens at 16 and 32bit display - normally it requires a 8bit display.

Ooooo nice....*sigh*

But You keep taunting me with this news about this stuff and somebody is going to get hurt.

Probably me when I headbutt my PC to oblivion.

*shakes DVD Drives*

WHY WON'T YOU WORK!!!!

I installed over the GOG version, nice work on the resolution fix and 32bit colors.

It's my impression or the graphics are better and brighter than version 2.03?
Very nice.

is there a resolution patch for Fallout 1 as exquisite as this one?

is Mash gonna craft one for Fallout 1 also?
I intend to replay Fallout 1 with my girlfriend so she can also experience the [insert synonym of awesomeness] of it.
