Fallout 2 mod Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.3.3 (Unofficial Expansion)

I don't see anyone in Vault City greeting office, no matter the hour or the day i visit the building.
Dunno if it is only me or if others encounter the same problem.

It's definitely a bug. I always see them citizens taggin' around the greetings office, except for the night, of course (when I finally picked sll the lockers there without being detected). Anyway, those two are pretty useless.

It seems they finally appeared once i repaired the powerplant. Dunno if both are connected or if it is just a coïncidence.

Just a coincidence, for certain. I always see them when I come to VC for the first time, and of course, this is before I fix the plant. Thing is, I always prefer to visit locations in daytime, so at night it may differ.

Can anyone tell me how can I get into the Vault City Vaults (AKA, become full citizen)??

I scouted Gekko, NCR, even wiped-out the raider cave. The sarge told me to report to First citizen, yet, that fxxking guard don't let me in.......

And that "combat mode" trick doesn't work anymore. Can anyone know what else I have to do?

Wallace assistant can sell you false citizenship papers (at your own risks)
Proconsul Gregory can make you pass a citizenship test (entirely depends on your character build)
Once Lynette tasked you to deal with Gecko powerplant, deal with concilor McClure (unless you want to destroy the powerplant), Harold and Festus to determine how to repair the powerplant. Then McClure gives you the citizenship. (don't ever talk again about the powerplant with Lynette. She wants it destroyed)
If you are a citizen and were always nice to her, you can do quests for Lynette about the raiders who attack the city (Bishop had hired mercenaries to pressure Vault City to join the NCR), she can promotes you in a military role. (i think it is captain of the guard)

But.... where is Proconsul Gregory??

Minor bug report regarding EPA. The giant EPA globe on surface and big turbines on maintenance level do not animate. Doesn't matter if i enter the area first time or go to worldmap and back. I'm using RP 2.3.3 (Full install) with the latest SFall. I have seen on youtube videos that they should animate.

No, it's intended.

Modified Content:
• The large metal globe on the EPA entrance map no longer continuously rotates. This was changed because a) how could it keep moving after so many years and b) there are too many animated scenery objects on the map, which causes slowdowns for some people.

Strange...I never got any kind of promotion from Lynette, especially military, only a huge amount of xp and G11 from Randall in the end for the full raider/Bishop/Moore/Westin questline. When I played F2 for the first time, I got my Citizenship from her for wiping out the raiders, but it turned out to be much easier to get it from McClure for fixing the powerplant. I actually love this huuuge quests bundle (Gecko/VC/New Reno/NCR) - there's a nice plot there, and it's possible to do it all peacefully:-)
But whatever build I tried, I never passed the Citizenship test, even with int 10 and science 120! I wonder what stats/skills should I have to pass it?

Well, i didn't even knew she could give you citizenship. I guess that the promotion only works as a reward if you already are citizen. Otherwise, citizenship is already the reward.

Also, you don't only need to be a citizen and do her questline about raiders, (which i am not even sure is given by her) but you also have to be liked by her. It include not bothering her if you aren't citizen (if you talk her more than once before that, it can piss her off), always adressing her as First Citizen and avoiding some specific topics that could piss her off, like the *slavery* at Vault City.

Well, I may be mistaken about Lynette giving citizenship, that was a long time ago, maybe she sends to someone who gives - like I mentioned, it's much easier to repair Gecko plant. That first playthrough of mine I would never forget, though:-) I picked up Narg (which is already a lulz), and went to raiders as soon as I recieved this quest from Stark (through back entrance, of course, metal armor at the most, few stims). It was hell! Also, by the end of battle I was addicted to everything:-)
After that, I usually go to raiders after Navarro:-) and after gettin the holodisk and map from Bishop's safe.
Somewhere in this thread, for the first time in my life, heard about peaceful solution for raiders. That wasn't present in the original game, so that's what I'll try next time.

About bothering Lynette...well, just have vaul 13 waterflask with you, and don't talk about slaves or "obey, woman, I am a Chosen One" sort of thing, and she would never be pissed off. Although I never had any reason to talk to her more tan once before actually becoming a Citizen.

For sexperts and gigolo chars it would be fun to add the option after finishing the game - to pummel het chocolate anus with a big spiked dildo in hardest way possible, and make her squirt (also give her that device from Francis, let HER have it:))

Muahaha, my pervert mind couldn't help but imagine a mod with a huge sex shop added to the "Golden Globes" cellar:-) "Tandi" doll there, of course (and the older one too, for gerontophils), and, say, "Lynette", and many more, including all of the New Reno families' heads, for gays and haters, and some mutie & ghoul ones too, for true connaisseurs!
And also certain things which would make all sex-related perks and traits actually useful, apart from being athmospheric, like some quests you can only fuck your way through:-)) it's a shame I don't know how to mod, would have done it myself maybe:-))

A question: With RP2.33, the plated boxing gloves at the basement of the shark club has become a normal boxing gloves, is that a bug or intended?

I checked the map (Newrba.map) with mapper, and the plated boxing gloves is still there.
