can I ask you another question?
deleted the game, installed again, installed sfall, installed your mod. now in the process gameplay emerges message: you have overwritten the rp ddraw.ini file. revert back immediately before its too late
How can this be corrected?

this happens because of settings in ddraw.ini, reinstall the mod and iinstall sfall copy ddaw.dll and DO NOT over write ddraw.ini

I here something tried, in folder scripts deleted glmodini and message unsupportable to emerge

shouldnt,however some setting may have an impact on game play,recommend u reinstall and dont copy over ddraw.ini

Does anyone know how I can remove aggro from NCR guards? Some cops were hostile because of Vic carrying a gun ... I tried to change GVAR_TOWN_REP_NCR, but it didn't worked.

Try instruction from there

Choose your saveslot and press the Maps tab.
Under the list of *.sav file, scroll down and choose NCR1.SAV, press EDIT.
Under scripts find SCCop.int (there are 15 or so of them) and click them. Check LVAR_0 to LVAR_5 under Variables and set them to =0 (use the value box in the lower right corner).
You probably have to do the same thing with NCR2.SAV and maybe even with NCR3.SAV. And then save your changes.

Also as written there LVAR_5 might be enough.
...check his LVAR_5. If it's set to 2 it means he's hostile and it needs to be changed to 0.

Hello there! I've been using your editor for a run on the vanilla Fallout 2. I love it!
Now I want to do a run on the restoration project, using the RPU. Not the RP 2.3.3 by "Killap", but rather the one "Burn" has continued on.

I can't seem to get it to work, it's like it doesn't recognize my savegame file properly.
I am using the latest F12se that you've provided in the first post.

I may also add that I'm using a brand new savegame file and I've tried reinstall Fallout 2 with the RPU several times.
Is there anything I can do or is it just not compatible with the new RPU?

I fixed bug in files loading order. Now editor should be compatible.
Hey, I am able to load a RPU save in the editor, but all the editor says all the stats are 0, the inventory is empty and all the tag skills are Small Guns. Great work on the editor by the way, it would be really cool if this could be fixed!

If you have problem with latest version(window title contain "Build: Nov 17 2019" when started) upload your save somewhere so I can take a look.

My Fallout installation only uses RPU (https://github.com/BGforgeNet/Fallout2_Restoration_Project) and fo2tweaks.

Edit: I fixed my save issues by putting my save in a different installation folder that had the old version of RP installed, and edited the saves with the tool there, then put the saves back into my game with RPU installed.

I can't reproduce your problems, I succesfully edited your saves. Could it be that your game is installed in "Program Files"? Windows protects files there and that prevents editor from working correctly. If your game is installed in unprotected location, then I need you to enable all log messages in editor settings(Info, warnings and errors) and upload F12se.log file after editor fails.
The fact that editor is working in a different folder hints that the problem is in the paths, but I need more information.
 
I can confirm the universal savegame editor for fallout 1/2 works flawlessly with on a local copy of Fallout 1 with Fixt installed (located in c:/games)

This editor is truly a time saver as it allows me to correct some silly decisions without restarting a new game
 
Got back into the classic Fallout games after a long time away and decided to check out the RP for something a little new and different, only to find that (of course), the old Falche editor didn't much like that.

Found this, and so far as I can see, works perfectly.

Just wanted to say thanks, vad. =)
