Fallout 2 - travel speed.

Hi. I've just installed the Restoration Patch by Killap and it's just wonderful to play on this mod . Still, there's one thing that annoys me - travel speed, as it is decreased to the maximum in the mod.

My question is, how I can increase the speed. Just a little bit. I enjoy the game, but this is starting to be annoying... Travelling from Den to SF is just a horrible experience (not to mention encounters, etc.) and all takes too much time. Can anyone possibly help me to switch that thing?

Open ddraw.ini file and try to adjust these:

WorldMapFPSPatch=1
WorldMapDelay2=66

Unfortunately, doesn't work.

Oh, as far as Killap's "readme" file is concerned, wasn't helpful. The instructions related to this issue didn't help.

Any ideas?

Hm, this setting worked fine in a default 8-bit graphics mode.
If you are using one of the DX9 modes, set the 8-bit mode first (ddraw.ini) and eventually set the 16-bit colours for high resolution patch (f2_res.ini) if you are running Vista or 7.
