[Fallout 2] Wich trait should I get?

OK, Gifted is regarded as the universal best trait and bla bla bla, but I want to try something different for the game. Yes, I know is one point in every one of your attributes in exchange for some skill points, but the trade-off is hugelly minimized by the advantages.
But honestly? Sometimes I think I'm cheating the game, since the advantages ARE HUGE (as if you don't have plenty of chances to abuse the SPECIAL system :D).
And I think it spoils the challenge of trying to balance your stats.

Anyway, I'm planning of playing as a female and one of the traits I like very much is Fast Shot.
One less AP for weapons in exchange of not aiming attacks? Sign me on and give me a Gauss pistol.
But I'm having trouble deciding the other one.

I was thinking in Small Frame, since I can get +1 AG. The drawback affects huge the character or is manageble?
If Small Frame is not an option, I'm thinking in doing a all fun, all talk, let's play sex with the entire Wasteland by picking the Sex Appeal trait.
The effects are good or is simply "more barter and cheaper prices"?

Small Frame is a decent choice. Lower carry weight isn't much of a problem once you get a few NPCs and the car. You'll have to unload loot to vendors more often at the beginning of the game, but that's more of an inconvenience than a real drawback.

The one time it's really an issue is if you have a strength of 1 and can't pick up power armor without using buffout.

I recommend that you get Fast Shot later on. It may be crucial to get an eyeshot on a deathclaw when you're a low-level.

Also, Finesse is a good trait in my opinion. Getting more criticals (right?) is quite nice.

You lose the ability to aim your attacks, which is very bad for single shot sniper-like characters. I'd never advise to take that trait...

Finesse adds Damage Treshold to all critters, so it more than often happens that you do no damage at all. Another useless trait IMO.

That's what I thought regarding Fast Shot, my main weapon is the H&K P90c and I'm planning later on using H&K G11E if the opportunity presents, so aimmed shots are not crucial.
I'm currently at level 8.

I picked Fast Shot and Sex Appeal traits, with the following SPECIAL:

ST - 5
PE - 5
EN - 4
CH- 7
IN - 7
AG - 8
LK - 4

I used the Zeta scan in NCR, so my luck is now 6, I've found more usefull than going to SF and raising my luck and intelligence.
I have 9 AP points and plan to pick Action Boy at level 12, so I can have 10 AP.
Since is fairly easy to deal with merchants and male in general thanks to Sex Appeal I'm starting to accumulate psycho, so after picking Bonus Rate of Fire I will able to fire the H&K P90c four times in burst mode.

I think the biggest mistake I did was regarding PE, I noted some differences in dialogs and the perks I can choose, it would be better starting the game with 4 ST and 6 PE.
I was not planning to go to Military Base but I have to, since I need the PE module.
Thank god for Sulik, hun? ;)

Yes, I know, I can take mentats for raising my PE and picking Bonus Rate of Fire at level 9, but I'm trying not to cheat (and F1 & F2 are games that begs for cheating).
Perhaps cheating is the wrong word, I'm trying to play without abusing the attribute system.

Finesse isn't quite as bad as it looks, since its modifier (30% DR, if I'm reading the code right) is ignored by armor-bypassing criticals. There are many variables, but some calculations suggest that it only causes more raw damage if you have a fairly high critical chance to begin with (i.e., targeted head/eye shots). On the other hand, many critters will flee if crippled, so a targeted critical can be as good as an outright kill. I wouldn't say it's a bad trait, as long as you adapt your playing style to make use of it.

Another problem with finesse is that it becomes fairly redundant when you get the sniper perk.

On the other hand, fast shot becomes a lot more nifty when you get aforementioned perk.

On balance though, being unable to make aimed shots during the rest of the game is very frustrating.

Single handed (or whatever it's called) is alright.
