Fallout 3 mod request

As I have no skills in modding, i do not know if this is even possible, but on PC the loading screen disappears to quickly! There is information on there meant to be read and I have seen video's showing the console version where because loading times are slower you get a good chance to read what's onscreen!

What I would like is just the ability to pause the loading screen and hit a key for the game to start. The game is loaded in seconds, so I don't know if this is possible!

Also, I think the compass mods are a bit over the top, and don't know why they all have to be taken off. I would have thought the solid arrow pointing to somewhere you had already been would be okay, for example!

The loading screen aspect of the game is likely to be unmoddable to that degree. The spash screen can probably be changed, but inserting a command to continue is likely hard coded.

That's what I thought - just another way this game has been spoiled on PC for console's sake! Grrr!

I wouldn't say that's quite the case. Morrowind and Oblvion also had such hard coded mechanics. Much of the game is moddable, but there are still a few aspects out of reach.
