Fallout 3: official teaser trailer announced

Relax about the music. Remember we're dealing with Bethesda here, and pretty soon you'll have all the pay-per-download tracks and content you want for the low low price of raping the license.


Joking aside, did anyone like the alternative music system in Tactics? I mean the custom music implementation. That would work really well provided they fail to please with their original music.

With this, you can play F3 with F1 and 2 music in it.
 
Beating a dead horse: I almost got aroused until that music started playing in full. What the hell? The more I listen to it, the angrier I get. What's with the focking Conan high-adventure theme? Did the idiots at Beth even play the original game? Did they make note of all the little details, and the big in-your-face ones like the 40s intro music and retro future theme?

All my worst fears are being confirmed. This game will suck rocks. Or maybe it will be an 'OK' game, but it's definitely not going to be Fallout. Some optimists will say, "But it's only some music they threw up on the teaser site." No, it's a lot more than that. After months of silence, this is the first thing Beth shows us, their first opportunity to let us know what to expect with FO3, and we have high adventure, save the world orchestral fantasy music. Absolutely depressing.

I don't know about that, really. It doesn't have a wasteland feel to it, but if you compare it to the photos in the introductory Perlman speech it fits pretty well.
 
Perhaps it would be better in black and white, like the original Fallout intros?

I believe they still can do right by us.

Either way, I'm going to buy it and play it. If it sucks, it sucks, which I doubt. It will never be the Fallout 3 we've always dreamt of, but it will be Fallout 3.

The music sounds really 80's action movie to me.
 
The music is shit and generic, even for a non-Fallout setting. It's planet of the apes music. Game is going to be crap with a 78.6% probability, don't bother upgrading your puters.
