Bethesda has updated its blog to give us more precise information on what magazines will have New Vegas stories, and where.
Next week in the UK be on the lookout for New Vegas cover stories in OXM, PSM3, and PC Gamer. All three publications will be on newsstands on February 11th.

Stateside, PC Gamer subscribers can expect the New Vegas cover story next week (on newsstands on March 2nd). Meanwhile, both OXM and PlayStation: The Official Magazine will have features on the game – subscribers can expect to see these later in the month.
We hope to see some summaries and writeups for our non-Anglo-American readers soon after the 11th.

Finally at least some PC centric magazine gets a scoop. I thought they would give everything to dirty console peasants.

Actually scratch that, I thought they were going to give it to Game Informer like in case of FO3.

Whichever member of Bethesda's PR department that wrote up the article for the PC magazine must have been running behind a bit and they didn't want to say it was in the magazine until it had been completed.

How fortuitous.

I just subscribed to PC Gamer last month because Amazon offered me a free subscription for some reason.
So I hope you know what you have to do as soon as you receive it.

Are we getting some in-games screens hopefully? or are we going to get the traditional background story only/concept art only shots this early on?

Now that's interesting. I'm more and more thinking that FO:NV will be atleast an allright game.

I like the idea of "Hardcore mode". I hope it will also change the SPECIAL (no more "high base value and small increments/decrements"), remove the bobbleheads and magic clothes and change the perks requirements.

I'm not impressed with this "Hardcore mode", which is nothing but a set of features that should be a default part of any game to begin with - with the exception of having to drink water, which by itself strikes me as pretty lame. I still cringe when I think about the Soul Meter they did in Mask of the Betrayer.

i doubt it matters much, for now. i'm sure they're showing the exact same bit of demo to everybody with the same few screens to print.

* tranny mutant
* better writing
* groin shot

basically what we're going to see for the next month or so. i doubt Ausir's list is going to have a whole lot more added to it.

Personally I hope that that reporter's mentioning about the Strip being full of operating casino's and concerts was just speculation on his part.

I wouldn't mind one or two still operating entertainment plazas but not loads of them.

Edit: sentence grammar mistake

he probably meant it in the same way in which Rivet City is a huge, sprawling city with hundreds of inhabitants.

The tanker that held some people who wore labcoats, some that didn't and a guy who likes drugs?

There was some people there... but it honestly felt empty.

And yeah, i do GET that you might be sarcastic here :)

When's the OXM issue coming out? I've seen the PSM3 and PCGamer issues, but I've yet to hear of any info from OXM.
