I wouldn't call a massive laser cannon a minuscule detail.

Anyway, I hope that it will require some high Science stats and whatnot and not just be given to the player to use at any time. It should probably have a cooldown on the use.
So you suggest taking away the "presh-here-to-win-the-game" button from players ? How dare you ! what happend to inovashun ...

If it was Bethesda, I'd have my doubts. Seeing how this is Obsidian and they generally know how to balance RPGs, I'm sure they'll have you meeting appropriate requirements.
Do they ? Not that I played all of their games, but Kotor II wasnt really that revolutionary in my eyes. Not that it wasnt a fun game. Just saying. At some point my character was always the most powerfull Jedi in Jedi history ...

Shame they didn't go all Cowboy Bebop and make it a sentient orbital laser weapon that got lonely.
Would make good use of the ol' Charisma skill to persuade it to toast your enemies.

No more self-aware machines are necessary, it's done way too much.
It was only done one time really in a stupid way ... and that was F3 ...

I didn't say that KotOR 2 was revolutionary or groundbreaking. It was basically PS:T IN SPACE.

I was referring to it having a character development curve that feels natural. And yeah, you become the most powerful Jedi in history. Then again, there's not much competition, not post-Revan.

Not really, I'd say Revan can kick the Exile's ass. KotOR 2 was fun, probably my favorite game to date. I was extremely pissed about it not being finished, and I wanted to kill someone when I found out Bioware is making a MMO instead of KotOR 3.

Off topic post is off topic.

It had some interesting characters that for sure. And here is where I have hope for Fallout New Vegas. Obsidian at least knows its job better then Bethesda. Hands down.

Though I think PS:T was when it comes to the writting and setting a lot better then Kotor. but that has something to do with the star wars setting. You HAVE to use some kind of cliche. Its what people expect form Star Wars and it would not be a good game if it would at least not feel a bit like a fairy tale.
