Fallout: New Vegas screenshot and concept art

I could care less about a character creation screen... you see it for 5 mins, and then you play the game... who cares.

Concept art, to me, means nothing. The concept art we saw for FO3 was amazing for the most part... I have that "Art of Fallout 3" book that came with the lunchbox, and there is tons of good looking concept art. It will have very little bearing on the final product.

On the flip-side, how do you justify the existence of that machine? What the hell kind of game is that supposed to be exactly?

The same way you justify the existence of the old Love Tester machines they used to have in resteraunts and arcades.

Its not exactly a game, just a way to throw your quarters away.

And, its actually pretty setting appropriate, IMO.

Man, that's a great photo. I remember those things at an old fashioned arcade near my growing up. All of them incredibly spooky and wrong in lots of odd little ways.

I think they thought kids back then were supposed to cry and run away as that meant FUN!

Maybe they played to much Dwarf Fortress. Oh, wait, nevermind...

And i agree with rcorporon. Concept art is worth little in telling what the quality of the game will be. On the other hand, pretty pictures. If no one loses, everybody wins!

Can't really understand why people are beginning to hate this game 'cause the dam is intact and the F1&F2 character-page isn't back. Seriously, is it that big of a deal? Sure, I loved the simple creation myself, but I like that "love-tester" as well :D As for the dam, I'd be more upset if it WAS blown away.
Anyway, great pics, can't wait to see more :)

Super cool concepts. Although that EUROGAMER watermark thingy isn't soo cool... Waiting for not butchered version.

What he means is that he hopes the game doesn't have a compulsory tutorial mode every time he starts a new game with not relevant options and that is, on top of that, underdesigned and dumbed down.
