Fallout: New Vegas The Gamer's Hub Q&A

WorstUsernameEver

But best title ever!
If you have a really good memory you may remember that The Gamer's Hub asked people to send them their questions about Fallout: New Vegas a good deal of time ago. Now they've finally posted Obsidian's answers to those questions. Most of the informations are, to be frank, things that to this point you probably already know, but there are a couple of interesting bits. Here's something that will most probably stir some controversies:
Q.) Will we see the Enclave? If yes, will we see old F2 type of Enclave Power Armour?

The Enclave will make an appearance, and there’s a good chance you’ll see some classic Enclave Power Armor. That’s all I can say at the moment, as nothing has been revealed on this front.
Spotted on the Obsidian Entertainment boards.

In the one part where they talk about items that adds points to your skills and SPEICAL they mentioned the skill books and the new magazines..They say there is also another thing that will add points but they would not say what. I thought I remember reading a preview once that among a list of things such as weapon mods and special ammunition they also nonchalanty added Implants. I wonder if this could be the part they didn't want to mention? The preview mentioned nothing about what the implants did, they just had it on a list of things that they saw in game or something...Anyone recall this?

In several of these "ask the developer" thingamajigs I've asked how the new aim-down-the-sights system was going to work with energy weapons, given that none of the lasers in Fallout 3 had ironsights. It seems a pretty easy question that should have a pretty easy answer that wouldn't reveal anything top secret, yet they haven't answered it anywhere.

Screenshots seem to show that laser pistols look identical in New Vegas to how they looked in Fallout 3, so... yeah. Here's hoping the've added a functional laser sight or something.

The implants do indeed raise stats - I came across the doctor who implants them when playing at Gamescom.

Well first off, since it took them so damn long to answer the questions and post them, we knew the answers to all of those questions already. But seriously who asks 'will there be easter eggs?'... really...

If I remember correct, the items giving magically + 1 to special stats are back too. I've seen it in a video on some hat. I don't know if I like this, though.

I find myself wishing those simple stat/skill upgrades would be excluded during survival mode, or at least made more meaningful.

do they change something on the look as well or just change stats ? I always hoped to see at some point eventualy a chage in the look as well. I mean a eye or arm and such things shoud look different and change the charisma by lowering it eventualy.
