Fallout pewter miniatures

First time out of the vault
Hi everybody,

We are a French miniature company, as well as long time Fallout fans and addicts !!!

We would like to expand our product line with resin and pewter miniatures based on RPG and strategy video games, and first of all on Fallout series characters.

We need your help to get an idea about how many potential customers we have before talking copyrights with Bethesda or interplay and actually cast and distribute our models...

Here are some pictures of our first demonstration pieces, you can also visit our website http://www.taban-miniatures.com/ to get a better idea of our miniatures quality.

90mm showcase paladine (Tactics brotherhood of steel) : should come as a 13 parts resin and pewter kit, unpainted approx 50 US$
This is a 90% done master of the miniatures... some details have tobe added (left boot, back hoses, M60 sight, helmet cable plugs etc...

32mm BOS paladine (Warhammer 40K scale), could be the first piece of an extensive range for Fallout Warfare paper and pencil game.... I do know ther is a demand for that ;-)

Taban Miniatures

This is seriously kick-arse stuff, but I doubt this will be more than a pipe-dream in the long run. Unfortunately.

Please upload those pics to the fan art gallery.

looks like good quality, but why Fallout Tictacs and why crappy weapons that never fitted the setting?

Good stuff, but IMO people would be more interested if it was the old Power Armour with Plasma Rifle for example.

Even I would buy it!

I think interest would be high, but not for Fallout Tactics models.

And then it's a question of whether you follow Bethesda's design or the original's. I personally would never buy a model of Fallout 3's Power Armor or deathclaw, but would love a model of the original's of either. In particular anything based on the old clay models would be pure sex.

In fact, I spoke with Interplay not too long ago about a possible Collector's Edition reissue of the original Fallouts. The idea seems unlikely, but not impossible. If you're interested, I can shoot you Herve's address.

I don't know what you guys are smoking. You're all addicted to Jet.

Please put me down for a squad of 10. Seriously. I'd buy them RIGHT NOW if they were on your website.

M60? Who cares?!!? I'm putting a Bolter in his arms! It's called "conversion".

My players would SH!T uncontrollably if I had a squad of Brotherhood of Steel Marines on the table, regardless of which version of Fallout the armor was from.

Don't listen to them Taban. Make them. Make them soon.

I'd buy one if it was a T-51B, or an Enclave soldier(FO2). I guess there are no plans for making any?

Judging by their post, I think they would make miniatures that would sell - if we'd find enough people that want pure Fallout miniatures, they would try to get a licence and sculpt them.

The miniatures are from Fallout Tictacs because Fallout Warfare is the only official Fallout PnP game.

I personally don't care for the superhero status of BOS armor duders. They all just look like assholes to me. Only exception would be rhombus, I'd buy a rhomb mini over asshole FOT BOS any day. What's up with the cape, anyways? And the heavy looking chain? Seems like those would just get in the way during battle.

If I were to buy a fallout miniature, it would probably be of the leather jacket duder with a sub machinegun in his hand, 10mm pistol on his hip(holster made from stratch orut of an old shirt or shoe) and dogmeat by his side. Maybe even morpheus in his robe, or lasher with his rod. An overseer in his chair would be neat(being beaten by a super mutant would be even neater!) or even the final scene, with overseer laying in a puddle of intestines with the vault dweller in his ripped up vault suit, gun still aimed, a cold look of unwanted regret on his face.

Anyways, end of wish list :D

1:10th Scale (45mm tall)

All these miniatures have been sculpted by Mohand, multi golden demon winner in Spain this year

Comments welcome

If you want to buy these models check our website :http://www.taban-miniatures.com or webshop :http://shop.taban-miniatures.com Benoit :D

I would buy just about anything in the Fallout range if it was in 28mm - so that it fitted in with the rest of my post apocalyptic miniatures from Copplestone and Foundry and my conversions from other ranges.

32mm is just too big.

A range of resin terrain features like bunkers, ruined houses and churches I would also buy.

O___O dude is there a way to get a custom miniature done? I would totally want one for my character Kimmy! She's the sneak infiltrater in our part. I would hope to get her in a leather jacket suit with a knife in hand, a shiv, or even a wakasashi! O__O she hates guns for her job cause she firmly believes that they are way too noisy.

thats pretty cool. i would buy that stuff if you did some models with the fallout 1 power armour or fallout 3 power armour (i personally think tactics power armour looks stupid) but if it was the others i'd totally buy that. (if its released in the uk :D
