Hopefully, someone in here knows how to edit stuff using the editor that came with the last patch because I got some problems...



-How do I turn NPCs and entities? I know it sounds stupid but I can only make them spawn looking to the north.

-When I try to make new NPCs, they appear dead for some reason.

-Tried to make a hummer with diferent stats, still the same hummer and I create a new file for the new hummer and put it on the editor.

-When I open the campaign maps to edit it, only a few bunkers and mission appear (bunkers 1,3,5 and something like 6 missions)


Pretty much those are the only problems I'm having right now... If someone in here knows how to mess with the editor...
 
1) You can change facing angle of almost any entity (ex. NPC), by changing parameter in left menu - just use Entity Edit function to select something. It's not obvious at first time, but left menu quite larger than screen, so you probably need to scroll it down. Can't remeber right now, how to fo it. You'll find it soon.

2) Check the same menu. Didn't you accidentaly checked "Dead" box?

3) "Tried to make a hummer with diferent stats, still the same hummer and I create a new file for the new hummer and put it on the editor" - didn't really understood, where is problem and question here.

4) Usual problem for pirated versions, or wrong installation process. Try to reinstall game, then use FT Booster to unpack all *.bos "archives". If some missions still missing - try to get another version (CD from friend, dl from internet, whatever) and repeat same.

Also google "JJ86" for some beautyful editor tutorials (whole site filled with them).
But before that - ensure that you didn't got broken game disk (or whatever was source of current FoT installation)

2) Nope, I even compared his stats with another normal NPC (alredy in map) and he still spawn dead.

3) I opened the entity editor and made my own hummer (changed stats and color) then, I saved him as a diferent file and placed on the vehicles folder, but when I put it on the map it's just a hummer with same stats and color.

Reinstalled Tactics and still got missing missions to edit! I can pretty much learn the rest on my own but missing missions make things a bit dificult...

As you can see there's a bunch of stuff missing, the game works 100% tough, just need the rest to edit in FT tools.
 
Nothing is missing, it's just all packed except for the patched files. You'll need to unpack the bos files, read the FAQ in the modding forum and follow the links to the tutorials.

And keep modding questions in the modding forum in future.
 
Well... I pretty much solved all my problems with the editor, just need to know why the NPCs keep respawning dead (the NPCs I made, not the ones that came with the game).
