Fallout tactics save game editor?

Not that kind of editor.

The 1 that lets you edit your ingame inventory

you save in a slot

turn on the editor

select the save slot to edit

change (for example) a 9mm pistol to a gauss rifle.
 
Well, there's one for FO2 at least. Go to the files section, then FO2 - Editors/Utils. It can't add items to your inventory, but it would do exactly what you want, ie change a 9mm into a Gauss.

A couple years ago I wrote FOTgee (FOT Generalized Entity Editor) because BOSCHE couldn't deal with the pregen characters. If you're familiar with Bioware's GFF editor, this tool is very similar.

Although I have a very good idea how to do it, it could not add or remove items from an area. (for purposes of this discussion, player inventories are part of the least area saved).

If you're interested, the source code is available. Let me know and I'll restore my website.

Plasmajoe is right. BOSCHE nor BOSedit work with entities you add to the recruit pool. Its very sad since I now need to correct a mistake I overlooked (I made a ghoul sniper with 4 ST).
 
It's not really news, I think you guys announced it back in the day when I fiirst released it, but feel free :)

I allready got the FO2 inventory editor.

If some1 knows a link for 1 for FO1 or tactics tell me please.

Er, perhaps the file called README? which also was linked from the webpage. The Usage section is what you're looking for and that's right after the Intro section. You may need to use WordPad instead of NotePad since I originally wrote it under Linux.

Yes, it's still rough. If it works for you, great! If it breaks you get to keep both pieces 8)

I didn't see it. By all means feel free to do so. Since I'm not currently playing Tactics, it's unlikely that I'll do much with it myself. (Shmaybe FO2 compatibility. No promises, just a random thought)

/me takes a few Mentats to try to remember where I originally announced it...

Something tells me that I may have made the original postings on DAC about 12-18 months ago. I think that was also rougly about the time NMA moved.

About a month after CompUSA had Tactics on sale for US$5 :mrgreen:

I hope this is the right forum... Anyway isn't there a savegame editor for FOT? I can't seem to find this one from anywhere in the net :|
