Fallout v1.2 - what is cut-out?

Hi guys. It's not easy to get Fallout 1 US, the most available version is UK 1.2 with no children. And its not a problem because there is a Children Patch, but I aware of other possibly cut-out content. So guys, do children is the only thing removed form v1.2 or there are other things? Because Ive heard about some violence elements were censored to make them less... violent.
And second thing - are there many language differences between US and UK version? Is it just about a few different words like color/colour or there are bigger differences changing style (or even meaning) of some dialogue parts and that "american feeling"?

According to a Tim Cain interview, it seems it is just removing the children, or rather make them invisible. It was the easiest and quickest way to allow the game in Europa. So i doubt they bothered going deeper into the game to check every dialog/animations/scenes etc... Another possibility is that they ran a possible word check to remove some offensive word and replace them by others or by giberish. But i don't know it since i played the french version first, and then used the RP which put back everything mission.

Which is funny although is that i initially had an European version, and still unwillingly got the child killer perk.
There are many npc that have an adult appearance, but are considered as children, and count for the perk.

Thx dude, but before I start to play Fallout agian after many years, I need to be pretty sure that the only thing banned in GOG version is children. So I ask anybody who is damn sure of it to post reply below, please.
Oh, and another pretty important thing. Does children thing make some quests, events or any of game content not working like in normal version?

There is some missing content if there's no children. 1 quest in modoc and some stuff in New Reno, but nothing else I think.

edit: derp, I read it as fallout 2.
The first game doesn't really have any content tied to children and the UK version is not the low violence version.

Can't you download the Restoration Project ?

It bring back european version cut, fix bugs, bring back cut contents and add a few improvements.

Well Im kinda guy who doesnt really prefer unofficial modifications, even if they fix some bugs and especially these which change basic shape of the game. And beacause of that I think the best way for me is to get TeamX Semi-Official 1.2.1 Patch which lools like a combination of bug fixes from all released versions of Fallout and also adds children.
