Favorite Fallout New Vegas Quest?

First time out of the vault
Mine would have to be Three-Card Bounty, Arcade's Enclave quest, Boone's Bitter Springs Quest, or that Collector's quest for the garrets where you collect their bar tabs for them.

DLC Wise it has to be Lonesome Road's or Dead Money's Quests. I liked OWB and HH though i felt they were just fetch quests, but OWB's fetch quests felt more fun.

I liked that one quest in Westside where the girl tries to rob her mother or something. It’s kind of sad if you can’t pass the speech check.

Edit: It’s was North Vegas, not Westside. The quest is called Someone to Watch Over Me

If you play it right and don't mind being an asshole you can walk away from this quest with some decent cash, though.

You can get a non-tragic outcome for this one, even without the speech check iirc - I think it's when you bluff her, and stand back allowing her to go massacre her family, she will take a moment to confront it mentally, then give up. If you keep confronting her directly, she will act impulsively, and carry out her attack.

One for my Baby I like because it sets-up Boone's revenge boner and his subsequent quest by choosing to be remorseful or vengeful. Obviously you're gunning for a legion victory (sans caesar) and vengeful so you get his bloodrage slide.

dunno if people are going to talk about unmarked quests, but Crazy, Crazy, Crazy cut right through me choosing to tell your friend to take half, full or no doses of their medicine when they're suffering such a debilitating mental issue? I just can't make the choice I always keep her at half doses because at least she'll hold onto to her humanity as a grandmother.

White wash was good because it made me question Arcade's motives despite the followers being an apolitical humanitarian aid group with an anarchist flair I thought it was strange that one of them would take such a vested interest. This makes more sense when you realize Arcade has seen what the Enclave tried to do as a kid and is probably reticent to anyone coming to overpower the Mojave. It's possible he might just be doing what he thinks is best. On another irradiated hand growing out of my chest, maybe dude feels guilty and he's desperate to bury his past from being born into a fascist paramilitary organization (lmao frontier, it's fully military if anything).

The crux of the quest is that he'll use a false flag to blame someone other than the followers which is incredibly telling of his moral compass. He's not above lying to protect the followers despite them inadvertently creating Caesar.

That was a brilliant quest just for the simple fact that you're able to navigate normal speech options in order to avoid tragedy. Like you mentioned you don't need the all-mighty speech skill check, she'll come to the conclusion on her own that she was maybe being manipulated. And these are quests most players aren't likely to find. Hell I didn't know about white wash until my fourth playthrough.

"Wang Dang Atomic Tango"

It's hard for me to describe all the little things I like about this one. For starters the concept and execution is just funny. From F.I.S.T.O. to even Mick and Ralph catching ear there are so many hilarious surprises. Beatrix's reaction is priceless too. Second, I appreciate the atmosphere. I like how casual and "filler episode" it feels. It allows me to just enjoy Freeside and the characters. Finally, I appreciate the use of sex. After years of playing Skyrim and other RPG's that downplay sex I love experiencing a quest that has it at the fore front. I'm no deviant, mind you, but sex is apart of life and a world without it will feel like it has less life by default. So it was a nice change of pace.

Filler comedy quests that expand on the character's always end up being some of my favorite quests in any RPG.

I like the quests and branching choices around Vault 22. You have a lot of choices around this place and it was a nice creepy experience even for Fallout. A bit frustrating to walk around in though. Still a great quest. The nightkin cure was also good. Anything to do with House or Caesar are great. Most companions like Boone, Arcade and Lily have great quests as well.
