Lich sent me some screenshots of his upcoming Fallout 2 mod called Black Steel, here's some info about the mod too:<blockquote>Mod will be extension to Fallout 2 game and change it.
Everything will be dirty, dust, rusty and ruins. Most of people will be sick and poor. In the game you will not be the chosen one, but you can meet him on his quest. Your primary quest is something else- this adventure is about searching the wasteland for some strange box (inspiration taken from horror movie: hellraiser)

Features:
-lots of new locations
-ruins everything already exist in game
-made totally random system (to play several times without bored)<center>

I see the interface has a typical flaw: The text box is unreadable. Don't mess with the text box.

Other than that, sounds rather promising.
 
I too think that the text box should remain un-messed with. This mod looks quite interesting. It will be nice to try it out when it's done.

Well to say the least if the screenshots are an example of the rest of the mod I am very pleased. I also like the modder's idea of the environment looking more "in ruins" and consisting of societies extremely destitute. It appears the author thinks of it as I first thought of the "Wasteland" as well.

Can't wait...

Well i don't like the screenshot very much.It looks as if the mappguy opened the scenery tab and started putting on the map everything he found.Anyway good atempt lich.We want to see more!!!

Quoted for truth. Looks good, but it would look better with an un-modified text box, and (regular) GUI in general.
 
Hm... I think the red buttons look retarded without the little rim around them :?. And I kinda have to agree with Bloodlust on the scenery tab thing. But otherwise, lookin' good :).

... now let's just hope this one doesn't give up like all the others...

looks really nice :)

so you are able to put pictures in the game I didn't knew that..... now you could put your self in the game. Your nicest picture with your bio and your SPECIAL stats up :D

Sorry, I have to agree with Bloodlust. It's like putting every single crap you can found in Fo2 on that screen. May try to clear something out. But, goodwork anyany, looking forward to the finished product.

I removed the images, so that we don't draw bandwidth from that other site.
 
Geez. Can't you just turn the image into an URL then?

That way we won't have to scream "MYSTARY!11" whenever we see his post.
