Gathering Tiles Resources.

Does anyone have any good sources for isometric images? (Preferably PNGs with a realistic look) I am attempting to gather trees, plants, and rocks for my tile creation project.

I am also considering using 3D models for some of the tiles but I am unsure about something. Can I somehow screenshot the 3D models straight into PNG format with a translucent background? If so, that would make things a lot easier and quicker for me.

Nope no such Screen capture or 3D program exists
Also i need new trees too but will except no help because I'm converting Fallout 3 and New Vegas trees and plants.

Hello xxxRedMetalxxx i have on my hard disk some (in fact a lot) tiles & sprites if you want (custom ones made with 3d studio max and RedViewer). I could not make anymore because RedViewer! refuse to work under WIN7 x64. How could i send the package to you ?

Also I use a Win7 x64, maybe change the program, there were a few versions out there.

Alright. I will send it to you this night. Some tiles & sprites are in "unfinished" state - make your choice.
For Redviewer, i don't know any other tile creator and i don't want to make a dual boot or use the microsoft's virtual PC machine just for one program.

This guy just sent me tiles and sprites that are way better than what I can create, and more towards 'Fallouts' style. I'm not just impressed... I'm beaten! NOOOOO!!!!

I will not only use them, I will be sure to add them to my modder's starter kit so that everyone will have access to them.

Ok as a derivative of the initial question, I need other opinions on 3D model viewing and screenshots...

There are a lot of alternatives to 3D model viewing out there, from actual programs to online viewers. I have experimented a little and have a few programs but I need to know this;
What is (in your opinion) the best, easiest, problem free way of simply viewing a 3D object in various formats and capturing them from isometric angles?
The more opinions on this matter the better...
