Water Chip? Been There, Done That

Its my attempt to build new car. They have different details like long/short parts or add-ons like gun, how many windows, doors visible or not. Visit "Workshop Desert" and tell me which configuration you most like or what it should have. You can download from there pictures in bmp256 format and made from them scenery frms or even car for driving!
 
I like the first one the most. Just because it's more like a regular car that has been rebuilt to actually function, and not like they can build those cars by the dozen.

Forgot to say they're damn cool.
 
Like the vehicle, don't like the gun. Or at least the position of the gun, it looks 'active' as opposed to passive and dead (which, being scenery in this context it should) to me. If you follow.
 
The first one looks best, aside from some small modifications it could use (defining lines on where the 'car' ends, and 'track' begins). Perhap you should make it look like all but the rear wheels from the original car are part of this 'halftrack', as it would look a little better, IMO.
 
I don't like the gun -at all. It looks unnatural compared to the rest of the vehicle, and is placed wrong.

Other than that, I like it. Don't know why, though.
 
I'm impressed. Not only that someone decided to actually design a vehicle with such graphics, but it actually looks good with so many different designs from the different vehicles. Really looks "put together" which is great.

C2 and C12 are the best.

I tried to add some vehicles and vehicles components but it was harder than i thought.

I tried to add charger rt, mad max cars, some "old" muscle cars and some engines, tires, trains, locomotivs, etc, but the size and the color always made it look unreal so i gave up on a "Wreckage Chop Shop" :(
 
yeah its not so easy, first: it must have right angle (i suggest search trough car models instead of real ones), second: paste JPG picture to bmp256 usualy lost colours (i sugest search pictures in GIF format) search google typing "car model gif" you will find some sites like this http://www.grantoros.com/grantoros/redlines3.html

The main idea was the player reach a abandoned shop, trashed and stuff, clean it, fix a wrecked truck and use it to gather junk around the wasteland and then build different cars. Then with some other pieces you could upgrade the car. Level 3 (upgrade 1 + 2) would paint the car also.

This shop would also include (later on) a guy selling stuff that you would provide him. The guy would be hired from some city. Depending from where you hired his barter skills would be better.

Though i lacked of time and will for a project like this. After all i'm no modder.
 
hmm.. halftrack... seemly some fun in this thing but that gun reminds some kinda vickers machine gun..?
