Hero Appearance mod for Fallout 1?

I would contact Mash about this, he was the one behind the appearance mod.
I wouldn't Count on "Mash" as somebody on this forum hinted doing a google research on Mash's real name he /she found that Mash probably died in a car accident in Australia few years ago. Austaralia is the country Mash lived before any contact with him was lost. So if I were You I'd count on somebody else to do the work.

For a long time already. Download sFall1 for Fallout 1 in the file ddraw.ini included EnableHeroAppearanceMod=1

I tried using the Hero Appearance Mod for Fallout 1 and got it to work but it doesn't show up in the nice-looking box in the Fallout 1 character creation screen like it does on Fallout 2. So what I did was modify the armor item protos to make them use the long haired dude sprite I installed in the critter art folder. I then changed the default male vault suit sprite with sfall.
This is the most optimal way to do it on android where memory space is precious. The Hero Appearance Mod takes so much memory space it's ridiculous, especially when you only want to use a specific critter sprite.

My understanding is it should work fine with the newest version of Crafty's sfall1? (1.7.6 or 1.8)
