How much C&C does tyranny really have?

Has anyone here done more than one playthrough of the game? Im on my first playthrough and have just reached act 2. The game has already presented me with choices beyond counting and each choice seemes to have a believable and sometimes significant impact on events. Is the game pulling the illusion of choice bullshit (I doubt this) with good writing or does choice matter to the huge degree it seems to. Choice in this game seems to have bigger impact than any other game to my knowledge. So the smaller choices (such as freeing a prisoner or captain) have consequenes beyond gaining or losing favor with specific factions? I'm super curious because this game really seems to be a godsend for gamers who actually want real C&C in their games.

You'll have to be a bit more specific. Some choices do have consequences later, but many others are just reputation changes. Some choices do unlock unique dialogue, though.

(Played all except Disfavored. Before the free update)
