I don't understand how damage works

DForge

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
I'm testing it with a BB LE gun.

25-25, so it should technically do 75 damage every time on armor piercing eye critical with the description of " Blinding him with a stunning blow" (x3 damage according to fallout wikia).

It does 65 damage instead.

Living anatomy adds 5 after the critical calculation; tested (it does 70 damage with it)

On the other hand, if you have bonus ranged damage (2) it does 75 damage. Uhh. So that extra 4 damage is multiplied by.... umm... 2,5?

Wait, does this mean the critical table at the fallout wikia is innacurate? but 25*2,5 = 62,5, which should mean 63 damage if the game rounds it up, not 65.

Well, at least I know that bonus ranged damage is added before the critical calculation and living anatomy is added after. Still... wtf? Am I missing something?

Isn't Bonus Ranged Damage added to the maximum damage for the weapon? Or is that only for melee? I've forgot about these things it seems.

Are you testing it on someone in combat armor? I think armor-bypassing criticals ignore only DR, not DT. Find someone in just a leather jacket, and the numbers should come out as expected.

The calculations are all done with integer arithmetic, so everything is rounded down.

That changes things... thanks for info, I'll try.
