So fucking what if I put quotation marks on a genocidal event that may or may not happen, based on the information I have gather from my history teacher and the internet? I should not be attacked for something that I AM OBVIOUSLY NOT FUCKING DENYING. Yes, I was off-topic when I mention the Holocaust. But should we continue to be off-topic? No, so no one should worry about putting the word in quotation marks. And I am not your teacher, if you want to know what the Nazis really did to the Jews when they went inside the gas chambers, look it up or watch the videos that I posted on tO YouTube thread (which the person above me chose to ignore after I showed him those videos).

Some of those concentraton camps where the mass murders took place are still open to visitors, so feel free to travel to one of those sites and check it out with your very own eyes! I did it, not a pleasant trip at all. For instance, I saw huge thick wooden door with hundreds of human fingernails stuck in it, lost by people who've been put in gas chamber and tried to escape the deadly trap with no success.

Seconded. Plus, there's shitload of documentaries where survivors and former prisoners who've eyewitnessed all this stuff are talking about it and I can't see a single reason why I shouldn't trust them, especially when those stories match to the last detail, despite the fact they're told by people who don't know each other, they've never met each other, because they were imprisoned in different camps on different places.

Which is exactly the kind of justification the Holocaust deniers need. In Hungary a huge number of the population are Holocaust deniers, and let me tell you, introducing that law just made it worse. After that law was passed, many of those who were unsure about the whole thing beforehand are firmly in the denial camp now. It basically gave deniers the moral high ground.

To talk about Holocaust denial in general... Many deniers don't outright deny the fact that the Holocaust happened, but use obscure historical documents (most often Nazi propaganda and the like) to say that the death camps were like summer camps with all the comforts needed for a person. They also claim that the well-known pictures showing half-dead people with their bones clearly showing are from American death camps made for Japanese. If you even attempt to argue with them they immediately attack you for being a jew or shill, effictively making the whole exercise pointless.

Unfortunately only Holocaust denial gets that treatment, denying the crimes of USSR (sometimes even glorifying them) is everyday practice even today, and goes completely unpunished.

Are YOU a Holocaust denier? Were you for the mass murder of Jewish peoples, or maybe you agreed with different policies enacted by the Nazi regime?

Do you also deny how the Spanish Empire, Mexican Empire, United States Government, and British Colonials participated in the mass murder and relocation of Natives? Maybe you deny that the Trail of Tears actually happened?
