Into Liquid Sky takes a dump on Fbos

Into Liquid Sky is the latest to review Fbos and they didn't like what they saw, here are some quotes:
.....this is exactly the same game you played 2 years ago in BG:DA. From the interface, to the traits/skills you learn, to the quest types, everything feels like it was just ripped from that game and given a new name to sell more copies.
And the judgement:
If you've never played a Fallout or hack-n-slash game before, don't start here. Go out and pick up the first two Fallout games for the PC, they are vastly superior and can be found together for around $10 (and if you're reading this, your computer can likely play them, the requirements are quite small), and the original Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is only $20. If you are a die-hard hack-n-slash fan, this might tide you over until the other games in the genre come out, but once you get those you'll likely never play through Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel again, so a rental would be best. In fact, I can't recommend buying this game to anyone, especially at full price. Maybe when it drops to the bargain bin, it would be worth picking up if you're in dire need of another hack-n-slash, but until then, rent or stay away entirely.
They gave it an overall score of D+, Haha, well execs at IPLY...NOW WHAT ?

Do they mean the dual jewel set? I wish I could find another one, 'cause my copy is damaged (found that out yesterday).

Hehe. Apparently the last few reviews give the "best" scores. Wait another week or so, and we'll be seeing scores in the region of F- or 3/20. I'm patient.

This is, of course, very good.

One funny thing though is this criticism:
Health and ammo are given to you in spades, by the end of the game I had amassed over 200 stimpaks (health potions), and had more ammo for each weapon type than I could ever use.
I don't think I ever finished either of the real fallouts with much less than that. :) They're just so precious at the start, and I'm so miserly with them, that I don't remember to use them towards the end.

That happens in most games. We generally keep stimpaks or health potions because we must face THAT BBB (Big Bad Boss) to finish the game. Anyway I think the review is good. FOBOShit deserves that.

But wait guys! I mean come-on, sure we've read the reviews and stuff, but we haven't personally played the game ourselves! We don't really know if it's crap or not!

HAR HAR HAR. Kudos to all those out there who said we needed to play this piece of shit. ;)

I actually rented it and tried it.

Was done with it in about 6 hours. Nothing but a button/key hunt fest.

Fallout and Fallout 2 typically take more than 10 hours the first run through, also.
