Inventory volume in critter .pro files?

Planting items on, for example, Skynet isn't possible due to "no space left for that item". Checking pro format, I don't see space, size or volume fields for critters. I also ran some hex comparison between Vic's and Skynet's pros, to no avail.
Any info on where is it configured?

When using the fallout 1 and 2 critter editor I see a "carry weight" field for each critter.

I believe that's what you're looking for.

Still looking for solution. Checked a few scripts (skynet, dogmeat), can't see planting blocked there, too.

Hmm, care to elaborate? Where does that info come from?
I've tried setting it to biped in 00000349.pro, and putting into both game data and savegame data, doesn't seem to have any effect either way.

Edit: also tried with gzip compression, no result too.

That info comes from me, so you know it's rock solid. ;)

Seriously though, I tested your proto in the Mapper's "play mode" and it works to plant stuff on him.
But if you want it working in a real game you want to edit Skynet's base proto instead (00000079.pro).
I have no idea what other effects body type has on a critter (if any) so try at your own risk.
Don't forget that when editing a base proto for a companion that can level up, you need to put it back into master.dat or that critter will keep forgetting his new levels.

I might as well tell that critters don't have a size limit, at all, only item containers do. However, in sfall there is an option to set a size limit for them.

Indeed, it does work when editing *79. Thanks.
The thing about master.dat is unfortunate, quite complicates the installation.
Also, for some reason I actually have *79.pro on filesystem. I've tried to reinstall, using the same mods in the same order, but couldn't reproduce it.
