IPLY investors still buying

Evidently the guys over at the Ragingbull forums are circling like vultures over the IPLY stocks, they've decided it's worth a gamble and are still buying stocks. Here's some info they got from Luke Haas, regarding IPLY:
He told me that Interplay is working on finishing up on the beta phase of the development of Ballerium (where they are getting the money for this is anyone's guess). He also told me that the French govt will decide what happens to Titus's shares of Interplay. Finally, he told me that Interplay's q4 earings report will be out about the same time as last year. Does anyone know when it came out last year? Anyways, I'm a glutton for punishment. I just bought some more shares. If Interplay can find a buyer, now that Titus's shares should become available, there is the potential to make a decent profit.
Sigh.

Well, it's not like an IPLY stock costs a leg and an arm.
Hell, a piss poor hobo who lives under a bridge could sell his blood and afford to buy fifty stocks or so.

This is possibly the only beam of light to come for IPLY, if the french dispose of Titus' shares and someone who has more of a clue about games than Darth Caen and his psuedo-Jedi Luke (my grandma? her cat?) take over IPLY as the major shareholder, they might be able to turn the company back.
How, however, would be a friggin miracle, seeing as how the Black Isle team is scattered around in new contracts and that almost every useful franchise that IPLY owned was sold out.

Ah fuck it, IPLY is dead, long live IPLY, dispose of those rotten stocks as fast as you can!

Fifty shares? They buy plasma near campus for fifty bucks a week. The stock is at what, 1 cent? I could hold 50K shares from one pint of plasma!

Meh, a case of beer would be a far better investment.

well, the price would rise if they started selling... but anyways, does anyone have stats on ammount of shares/ price per share? I'd like to know how much of interplay 10 bucks could buy

Apparently a lot

Anyone else find that chart amusing? - Colt

Perhaps NMA should band together and buy them out. Glittering gems of hate indeed.
By God, you are right! Let's buy Interplay! Seriously! If a thousand of us teamed up and contributed a couple of thousand dollars, we should have enough to buy the company and all its assets. Even the least insightful among you can surely see many benefits of owning Interplay. For example:

1) Ownership of the Fallout MMORPG license, allowing us to keep that pile of shit from ever getting developed.

2) Control over the contract with Bethesda. Who knows, there might be a stipulation in the contract that would allow us to prohibit the release of Fallout 3 if it doesn't live up to standards set by its predecessors.

3) Access to Van Buren and Jefferson source code.

4) Opportunity to give Herve a pink slip.

5) Thrill of owning a bankrupt homeless company that owes tens of millions of dollars in debt.

So, what do you say? We could even rebrand the company and call it "NMA Inc."

There's probably already an NMA Inc. in some second world country pumping out mercenaries or fruitcakes. - Colt

Shh... We'll just let Calculon handle that, he's good with numbers. Supposedly.

Nice idea...he could do something Im sure. Like confuse the fed's with math.

Hey I'd be willing to spend $10...if everyone gives about that much would that be enough? If so I would pay in.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

Bloody hell! I will toss in $25 just so I can personally fire Herve.

I'm actually curious now what they would do if a person representing "the NMA group" approached them and offered to buy the company. Would they sell?

Considering herve's greed, he'd sell in a heart beat.

Eh, you're supposed to be contributing a couple of thousand dollars each. If you all chip in $25, we'll at best be able to buy a few hundred bottles of lukewarm champagne.
