Is it me, or is this game really hard?

Another trick is to quickly boost a squad member's steal skill and loot each bunker as you progress. Unfortunately, you can't steal all of the Quarter Master's goods, but at the very least you can gain a bunch of medical aid from each bunker. If you don't want to waste too many points on anyone's steal skills, wait unti you can recruit Babs. As soon as she's available she'll be able to easily steal everything that's not nailed down. Just make sure you quick save often for those times when she is caught.....
 
gambling is more important imo. I obtained (yeah i travelled from the last bunker to gamma which is kinda of a drag esp with lots of REs on the way) 5 suits of PA and 2 suits of APA plus a whole lot of ammo and crap that my squaddies use through gambling and i still have around 70K to waste in Vault 0 with Dagger squad.

Seriously dont gamble or steal if u like a challenge, which is kinda stupid.
 
i just aquired my copy of fot about a month ago and have already almost beaten it, after of course reading a assload of pages on fot help tech and discussions. thanks guys :wink:

hehehe I got it from "The Warhouse' (kind of like a budget version of K-Mart) for $30 NZ or it might have been $20 NZ, I cant remeber now, but it was cheap :)

I've just reinstalled it and might start playing it again :)
 
I paid $10 if I remember right.


The store had only orderd a few copies, and they were desprate to sell em.


Heh, I go to that store semi irregulary, and the manager tried to push POS on me recently, since he rememberd I had been looking all over for Craptics.


Needles to say he got a peice of my mind.
