Just give me a trainer that does infinite money, health, etc

Makatak

First time out of the vault
I want to complete the main quest and ONLY the main quest without doing any of that extra crap in the game. And I need to find a trainer that does infinite health (for my character ONLY), infinite APs, and infinite money so I can get through this as hassle-free as possible. I'm quickly running out of patience with this game.

Why am i only going for the main quest?

Because despite my curiosity about what the player character goes through for the main story, I hate this game. Its got all sorts of ridiculous puzzles with dead-ends, dialogue tree dead-ends that make no sense, other issues, etc.

I can't stand games like this or BG, Planescape Torment, etc. They are very chance-based and full of stupid hurdles that the player cannot possibly predict.

Its extraordinarily trial-and-error based.

Why don't you just start by turning down the difficulty if you've got problems?

I ALREADY DID THAT! Not only that, but I found a trainer as well as an exploit for getting lots of cash, and despite all of these tools, Im STILL having a very hard time completing the game because Fallout does an extremely poor job of giving the player a sense of direction.

At the moment I keep running into puzzles i can't solve (example: entering the military base). And online walkthroughs are not very user-friendly because they are TOO DETAILED and they don't distinguish between the main story and side quests very well. I'm not interested in sifting through a ****ing encyclopedia trying to figure out where an important item is. Geez!

Very short walkthrough:
1. Go to Klamath to look for Vic.
2. Vic's not there, try the Den.
3. Turns out you don't need Vic, since other people can tell you how to get to Vault City.
4. VC isn't V13, but the central computer might list the locations of other Vaults.
5. Fix the Gecko reactor, talk to Councilor McClure to become a Citizen.
6. The central computer only knows about Vault 15, so go there.
7. Inside V15, a computer tells you where V13 is.
8. Go to V13, get the GECK, run back home.
9. Discover that you're not done yet, head down to San Francisco.
10. The tanker needs fuel - ask the Shi Emperor (palace on east side of town). You also need the NavCom parts from V13 and the key fob from Navarro.
11. Once the tanker's fixed and fueled, set sail for the Enclave.
12. Go to the bottom level, set off explosives next to the big reactor control computer, then make your way back up, kill the genetically-engineered total homicidal maniac mutant cyborg bodyguard and escape before the whole place blows up.
13. You've now 'beaten' the game by skipping 90% of the content.

What your character goes through is how you play the game. They're the same thing. It's a journey of discovery. If the Chosen One stands around in the desert shouting "I CAN HAS CLUEZ AND INFINIET CAPS" then that is also a discovery.

Also it seems moderators have been giving you strikes for your behaviour and you may be on your way out as a result. It's only fair that you should know.

Looks like you still haven't quit playing Fallout 2, eh? Is that because you want so badly to see what happens in the main quest?

You can consider yourself a Fallout 2 fan if you want as badly to see all the possible dialog options when you talk to an NPC - and if you can't rest before you've saw what happens in the story.

Wow. Why punish yourself? Just quit the game then. It's not like finishing it will cause a major change in your life, you know? It's just a game. If you don't like it, put it aside and do something else.

Wait... You have a worldmap, you have town maps, you have tons of people pointing you in the right direction and you have your own wits to put one and one together. You even have concise lists of quests solved and quests that need to be solved in your PipBoy... What other sense of direction is not satisfied by all these obvious arrows pointing to the mysterious X?

At the moment I keep running into puzzles i can't solve (example: entering the military base).
Yeah. Trial and error. But there's only so many things one can do and the item descriptions basically tell you what to do.

And online walkthroughs are not very user-friendly because they are TOO DETAILED and they don't distinguish between the main story and side quests very well. I'm not interested in sifting through a ****ing encyclopedia trying to figure out where an important item is. Geez!
Maybe RPGs just aren't your thing. You ever thought of that?

Yeah man, gotta agree with alec here. If you really wanted to know the story I'd just read it on the vault wiki or something. Fallout bible is also a good source of information.

Stop punishing yourself.

Without wanting to sound like a complete arse...
From your other thread where your character "didn't have enough intelligence to access the computer terminal" I'm afraid you don't seem to have the right SPECIAL stats to play the game.

Sure you could skip through it shrugging off bullets and blows with infinite health but why not go outside? What is the point of playing a game if you're gonna cheat and skip through it?

Just use Falche2 to max out your stats and be quick about it.

Once you've 10 SPECIAL, 300% Skills, 999 HPs and an insane Damage Threshold, this should really be a breeze!

Also, don't bait the man, y'all, just because you managed to complete the game when you were 12 years old. Maybe he's just a busy man.

PS. You can easily skip the military base, but in the unlikely event that you don't want to, there is a metal pole right there on the ground (not very distinguishable from the surrounding). Attach it to the mine cart and an explosive on top of that. Bam!
