Yes another post-apocalypse game. this one is RTS. ones that i missed it meow.
1. Anyone been playin' that game?
2. The first KKnD is released in 1997. really same year as FALLOUT did. saying that one of each copy the other is a bad thing. though boths are post apoc.
3. What happened to Melbourne House? Why aren't there KKnD3? (the KKnD2 was very popular in Thailand, yes this is the FIRST RTS that has both Thai dub, a very good one! and Thai language GUI, not sure how does this game do elsewhere)

there was a project of C&C: Generals mod that 'remakes' KKnD2 into SAGE engine. but what happened to the mod? does Melbourne House scared the crew with lawsuit? if not. what else?
i've heard that EA holds the firm hand on KKnD series. correct??

does he really influenced by Vietnam War US. troops?

6. Which aspects of the series are influenced by another Ozzie-made movie Mad Max series? in addition to the EVOLVED factions.

What happened to Melbourne House?

Atari bought them, and they made shitty games - eventually Atari sold them to Krome Studios - which sadly began shutting down the studios under their control one at a time. Melbourne House was one of those studios. I worked there in the QA department for a short while, when it was under Atari. The company was run into the ground by self indulgent, talentless morons. Did I mention they made shitty games.

And Either Atari or Krome threathens all fans trying to resurrect the title KKnD with lawsuits? claiming that the brand license is with them and no fans are allowed to make those mods or games W/O payin' them hefty royalties.

Geographical wise. what does the earth looks like in KKnD1 and KKnD2?
in KKnD1. looks like the warring parties do some kinda world tour. there's one mission that took place in the remains of Newyork city (since NYC locates next to the sea. anyone saying that the nuclear holocaust also melted the polar ice cap means he/she is lying). and i'm not sure if there's another mission that took place in the ruins of Sydney.?
in the KKnD2. the campaign took place in some kind of continent that looks like triangle.

1. Does the war of 2079 altered the earth geography too? did nukes caused a massive tectonic shifts throughout the globe?
2. if not. where in the world could this place be?
3. in KKnD1 where do you think the Survivors emerged first? Australia? America? Europe? else?

I played the shit out of KKND2, though the cheating ai was very annoying. On the other hand, I think the ai in KKND2 was cheating less than in KKND1... (never really played KKND1)

The mutated faction has some funny unit voice. I like when they scream 'hunting!'
The 90's was an era full of wonders and crazy PC games. Like Redneck Rampage and Blood.

Played that game a lot too. So the ai was cheating huh? back then i always felt there was something amiss going on there, not sure if it wasn't just me sucking at that game, but there was quite a bit of keyboard headbashing on my part.
