Laugh at Bush, laugh at France

King, as brilliant and gifted an orator as Bush Jr. is, keep in mind that he never writes any of his own speeches...his staffers won't let him. That's quite sensible, actually, since if he were allowed to write his own speeches, he'd probably look like even more of an idiot, what with his cute little made-up words and all. And dude, King, it takes a lot more than lame jokes about France to subdue angry war protestors.

King, did you know that at the last presidential elections in France, a candidate you'd love lost by a few voices?
I'm sure you'd find a lot of friends among Jean Marie Le Pen's followers, so don't laugh at an entire country when you could find potential friends in some of its population :)

I didn't say that it would end protests, I said some said. And I thought it was funny. I never said the French are horrible evil little people, have a sense of humour, I said that he made a funny wise crack about the French. What? You say it's funny when America is made fun of but not the French? I like the French people, when they aren't being arrogant. I think this boycott shit in America is stupid. I just found it funny when they were made fun of. I found it funny when Iraq made fun of Bush before the war.

A number of reporters who have interviewed him, including Sir Frost, have indicated that he is quick on his feet when he's on his own. I think I've heard from four or five separate reporters on at least three different talk shows now that he gives a much better impression ad libbing than he does when delivering speeches on national televsion.

Really, I'm surprised that so many seem to find it so easy to call him an idiot.
 
Hmm...that is true. I think it's because of what democratic magazines/newspapers/shows and SNL calls him an idiot all of the time. I think it's because he looks funny. SNL makes fun of him all of the time and it's hilarious, but seriously, he is more educated and and has more knowledge than everyone here. But still, I can't help but laugh when he is made fun of, especially by SNL, they do it so well. But that is the same story with the French prime minister, he is made fun of a lot as well, not so much for the movements he makes with his head and face when he talks, but more of because of his decisions. I find it more funny with Bush though.

And sorry to say it, but the whole Le Pen vs. Chiraq thing was hilarious. I don't understand why the French still refuse to change their retarted presidential election system.

Sure, he writes insults about me in French. Wooz, I never said I hated the French. I said that Bush made fun of them and everyone laughed. Big woop! People make fun of everyone. I didn't go around calling French people fascists when they made good fun of the United States. Some of the things they say are actually pretty funny.

Which means (my French is a bit rusty, so bear with me here); and for those that speak French; f*ck the FN.

The FN is the Front Nationale, the party to which the aformentioned Le Pen belonged to, basically a fascist party.

Libertarians aren't even a real party, they're like communists, they're a group of like-minded people. They just have parties in a load of countries. Even the USA.

Actually, I found it quite scary. The people had to elect either a "very, very, very, very(...) right wing- oriented person" (Le Penis) or a thief (Chirac).

The election system being as retarded as it may be, I think it's more likely a mentality / attitude issue at the root of the problem... "why bothering voting if it's gonna be the same shit anyways? Naaaah, better stay home and watch soccer"
