Levelling Glitch

Water Chip? Been There, Done That
Right, i'm stuck in-between a rock and a hard place (what I think), the levelling glitch is allowing me to level up to 50, so I saved at 40, and I promised myself I could wait for OWB and Lonesome Road, but now that I think about it, should I do some of the vanilla quests before I go? or find more locations? The reason I hadn't done this is because I swore I could wait until OWB to level up past 40, because I want the reward from the quests to actually do something and not be stopped at the 45 limit before I even get the DLC. But the more I think about it, I could keep on doing vanilla stuff and eventually level to 45 (somehow) and the reward from the quests could just be the writing etc. So thats why i've posted on here to get my fellow forum-members (usually) adamant advice.
 
This has happened to me and I decided to try to stop levelling but I'm now on 47 and I feel I may miss out on the benefits of lonesome road ( they're bound to be new perks) so I've started a new play-through till then.

I have a question however; Will my level cap be increased to level 55? because if it will be I may just go do a final few vanilla quests and exploring
 
No it's meant to be staying at 50, as OWB was raising the level cap to 45, then LR to 50.

I second this query.
 
Being the owner of Two Downloadable Content packs (OWB and HH), I just want to speculate that actually Old World Blues takes the level cap 5 levels higher, So having Old world blues, dead money and honest hearts brings your LC up to 45. I've actually read on one of the fallout leaks (Can't remember which one..) that Lonesome road will be the last FNV Downloadable content and that it wont take the level cap higher, so you'll be stuck at 45.
