Looking for advice on interesting, challenging or unique playstyles for FO2

So, I'm thinking about doing a Let's Play of FO2 on my channel. The whole idea of the channel is RPG's roleplayed with interesting/different/challenging/unique builds and characters. I've only done Daggerfall so far, a game I know a lot more about than FO2.

Also would like advice on best mod setups, partly for the series, and Im also thinking about doing something like a "Ultimate setup guide for Fallout 2 in 2019" -type of video. Wich I think the game and the community deserves!

Im thinking about some kind of traps/explosives guy using the crafting system in the EcCo mod wich sounds so amazing. Crafting in FO2 is like the missing piece to make it a perfect game!

have you thought of playing a pure-unarmed build? i've played F2 once without ever using any kind of weapon, without followers and on highest difficulty setting. it was a great way to play, the most memorable playthrough for me. also, surprisingly easy - only the final boss gave me some trouble as i wanted to deal with him single-handedly but i found a way to take him down

Thanks, I've always found unarmed to be unsexy in rpg's, dont know why. Really impresed and surprised that you made it like that though, and easy aswell!

i too thought it would be challenging but unarmed attacks quickly become ridiculously powerful in F2 and you never need to worry about ammo, acquiring new weapons etc. it also makes combat more interesting as it now makes sense to hit other body parts than eyes
