Merchants with Resetinventory

I've found Dixon so far.

He will refresh his inventory completely with console command resetinventory, making him unique in that aspect, as few do it even partially. Thus, he's a good source on jet, dixon jets, buffouts and fixers.

A few other responded very limitedly, like Ada just refresh her laser pistol. Or the empty casings, drained energy canisters.

You guys ever found anyone else like Dixon?

Just kill him then I can get enough dixon jet to beAt whole game.
Actually, there's always tons of jet left untill endgame so I don;t think he is actually useful

Why would anybody want to kill a merchant without need? And at very hard, middle level maybe fine but upper40 will be brutal. I prefer not to burn my bridge.

Because he is a illegal drug dealer who ruins freeside.
Kill him will help two drug addict stop using drug.
So actually kill him is good thing to do

Very funny. The whole Freeside is a den of drug pushers and junkie, killing him serve no purpose, as two others will replace him. The proper thing is to convince the junkies to rehab. The Old Mormon Fort is right there, and convince Julie Farkas to sell mags is easy as pie. Med or Speech requirement are no problem.

Dixon is an oddity.

Resetinventory refresh his list of carrying merchandise, show by command inv. If we additem to his list, he will have that to sell. unfortunately that doesnt mean he will refresh with the new number but with the old.

Jack can have some 5-6 drugs to sell but he has only one of that appear in his inv list. Strange.

Read something interesting in a thread about The Sink inventory the other day in nexus. Apparently it has several kind of inventory which lead to the messes in refreshing them.

So it come to me. prolly merchants all have different inventories, and only Dixon carry his on him. So resetinventory only work on him.if you clone travelling merchants they dont have their merchandise to sell. same deal with Ada Straus.

This really mess up.
