ModDB removing downloads/mods/addons from profile

Is this a known thing that they do?

If you pull up the addon or Fixt downloads that I've uploaded, or Fallout Fixt page itself, it has my username on them and I can still edit them as normal.

But if you go to my profile, mods/downloads/addons selections for me are blank.

This happened without warning or notification. Ironically, this is after resubmitting a News post the third time and asking for specific reasoning of the rejection if rejected again, and making a blog post there about their terrible communication / "customer service".

I am hoping it's coincidence but I wonder if was retaliation. lol.

I don't care for their site. I know it is the only place to get some mods though.

Yeah, so far all my experiences with it since I started to use it as a modder/uploader have been... less than positive.

This might seem silly to some people but the worst part is there's no way to set up notifications for comments. So I just have to check everything I've ever done periodically to see if people have commented on it? What the fuck?

One of the reasons there site is garbage. The comments system is fucked. Say what you want about Nexus, but it works better than ModDb. The bad thing is there are no good alternatives.

I gave up on Nexus because their upload system is crazy. So many fields, many of which didn't even apply to me. It was just over-the-top, I got overwhelmed and pissed off trying to fill it all out.

That, and the Fallout game didn't even exist in their system yet (!!!) and they hadn't done anything with my file submission or "Fallout should be on here" submission in a week so I was like whatever, not worth the trouble.

If the ModDB thing goes south I'll probably try Nexus again  Seriously though their upload process is retarded. They should really tone it down.

I was going to email ModDB about this but I don't even know if it's worth bothering. I already emailed them about 4 other things today. (3 resends of old ones to which they never responded, and 1 asking why News entry rejections provide no reason why it was rejected)

We'll see.
