More housing options?

Take into account I am a complete and utter nub when it comes to modding.

One of the greatest complaints I am reading (On the Beth forums in particular) is the lack of player housing options.


Several viable options for player housing already exist without the need to create new ones. (SatCom Array NW-05a being the one I am most interested in).

My question being if the tools are released how hard would it be to stop container resetting/respawn in certain areas of the game?

Some areas already appear to be non resetting (Super Duper Mart is still holding the same items I put in a locker and im at 40ish hours now).


Thoughts/suggestions?
 
Well, firstly, having spent plenty of time browsing Oblivion mods, once we get mod tools there will probably be a flood of housemods.

Secondly, I think that indoor cell containers might not respawn like they used to in Oblivion. I haven't tested this, but theoretically, any place might be a "safe" cell if it is indoors.

I know I personally haven't spent a lot of time revisiting old areas though, but when I do I tend to not be noticing respawning containers.
 
I haven't found any respawning containers in a house yet (don't know about 'dungeons').


I've been using Silver's house, the one in Springvale, since the beginning of the game, and have yet to see anything vanish.



The lockers in the 'Common House' in Megaton can also be a convenient place to store all your junk. I only put stuff that I plan to sell there, though. When I don't want to stop by the stores at the moment, but know I don't want to keep any of it.
