Mutants Rising: September Update

Way to go posting a screenshot with two really obvious typos.

I understand; not everyone will appreciate the press releases from MR.

But for those that are watching, supporting, and POSITIVELY commenting on the game, kudos to you.

Overreacting a little bit?
There are typos in the game, he just advised you of it. It's called feedback and I'm sure it wasn't meant that negatively. Getting only positive feedback won't get you anywhere. If you can't stand criticism, you shouldn't be releasing anything to the public.
But typos aside, it looks really great. I'm really eager to finally get it :D

constructive critisism great, but if you add something along the lines "way to go idiots" (after the mistake has been pointed out many times already) then it becomes bashing/mocking not polite help.

sure it had the mistakes but we dont exactly have a "PR" department who goes over all the posts... we do have an editor who will hunt down mistakes like that but obviously thats going to be in the end when the location and dialogue is done and frozen so noone would have to go through it twice. all the release screens are obviously from a working alpha/beta build so things like typos are the smallest problem and will be looked over in the end of the development.

were also not looking that much for "help" with these posts, we have more then capable team, its mostly to keep the community in the loop and show that were still "alive" (and perhaps create interest in those experienced scripters and artists to join our ventures for a some extra help)

I'm new to these forums and pc gaming as a whole and have a few questions

1. is this a mod for Fallout or Fallout 2
2. if its a mod for fallout 2 will this work with the restoration project? or will it be separate? (meaning can i still play F2 story if i install this, and this can go for F1 too, if its a mod for F1)

its for fallout 2.
and you would need a seperate install for it... (considering the size of it it shouldnt be much of a problem.

Typos?
Have one on every sentence on my part. IF it runs, it's perfect.

Just release it anyway you can until I run out on drool.

*Cough* Thanks equilerex *cough*

I indeed did mean to phrase it as "constructive criticism" as opposed to solely "POSITIVE" commentary. I don't mind in the slightest if people offer up their insight on the game; however, posting multiple times about the same typo, instead of giving feedback about the rest of the featured content is just rude.

With that out of the way, I hope you are one of the people looking forward to playing the mod :)

Really glad I got to be a part of MR. Hope it sees the light of day soon. They may not have many team members right now, but what they have are dedicated and talented.

You were very much an integral part of MR. Without you, MR as we know it would not exist.

As for the release date, my PhD is getting in the way.

Chris, that is very kind of you. I understand about life getting in the way. Thank you and the rest of the team for finding time to keep it going.

Get that PhD! It will be just one of your many accolades, I'm sure, but a very important one.
;)
