I just installed Wing Commander on my Windows 98 PC, and it runs way too fast. I tried googling the problem, and it only came up with solutions for newer operating systems. Is there some sort of patch out there to correct this?

Hmm.. yeah, the first one, from 1991 (I believe). Use DOSbox even though the computer already runs MS-DOS? Well, I should try anyway, just can't right now since I'm not at that computer. Thanks.
It is a problem that is possible with many old DOS games, from what I understand the 'DOS' of Windows versions isn't like the DOS these games originally ran on.
But yeah, you best use DOSbox with such programs if you want to be sure they run properly, you can always modify the speed if necessary.
