Next Obsidian made Fallout idea

It Wandered In From the Wastes
Lets assume that Bethesda will be putting fallout 4 in Boston. What location would you like to see the next Obsidian made fallout? ....hoping that is that they make another fallout.

I think if we're talking the west, I'd say Seattle or Portland. If for some reason they decide to go farther east, my first choice would be Chicago, but only because I grew up in Illinois. Plus there is still so much mystery to the midwest in the fallout universe

Minnesota. Im sure someone could make a good storyline for the twin cities and fallout is severely lacking in winter wastelands

Texas!!!!
Fallout Texas :P

But serious, Colorado would be cool. Denver (Dog town), Boulder, Colorado Springs, NORAD (the Crater)

They could use some of the ideas planned for Van Buren, Denver being a NCR frontier colony after they took the place from the retreating Legion, using prisoners to reclaim the city and it's resources.

Colorado Springs/NORAD is a radioactive hell hole full of various radioactive lifeforms.

Boulder, well the Dome concept has already been used but this could still be a settlement with lots of scientists.

I really don't care. Just as long as they don't repeat any places they've already been.

We could move up north, maybe see some snow or some green. Explore a new location with only a few connections to the existing factions.

Canada VS USA factions!

After they got snubbed of their bonuses due to 1% difference in Metacritic score, I don't think Obsidian will be willing to work on another Lamebryo-based game.

Fix the problem of fallout 3 not being seen as canon and introduce the NCR onto the east coast, they do have vertibird tech and troops to spare, think of it as a means to gain a foothold in the area.

Some resonable smaller factions could be the brotherhood, pockets of enclave still roaming in the east, either a new large and powerful faction or multiple small ones, and that would allow the chance of hearing galaxy news radio once again, and DLC relating to visiting boston and stuff would please me.

^^^^

It will probably take decades, if not another century before the NCR even gets near the East coast.
The expansion of the Republic goes very slow, not only does it have to build or rebuild infrastructure as it expands Eastwards, it has to deal with local elements, and at the same time also maintain California.

Having the NCR suddenly appear on the East Coast would not make sense.

Also Vertibird have a very limited range, they aren't cross continental capable, requiring various stop overs to be refuelled and maintained.

There is little reason to restart GNR unless it is from some Pre War nostalgia.

Even if i love the enclave etc i would only want to see them if the game happens around F2.. But i would love the chance to join them!

And what kind of mad man likes GNR and/or Three Dog!?

Both NCR and Legion get embroiled in a civil war due to Ceasers death and maybe infighting between the parties of NCR.
